3 & 2 Axis Motion Simulators

  • Qualified and experienced technicians use our 3& 2 axis Motion Simulators to perform tests and calibration procedures on gyro and accelerometer sensors, used in aircraft and weapon systems.The motion simulators has position accuracy better than 5 arc seconds, rate of 750 deg/sec, acceleration of 1500 deg/sec/sec and a climate chamber that can reach temperatures of -40 to +80 deg Celsius.
 

Single axis Rate and Position simulators

  • The position accuracy of this single axis position and rate table is better than
    5 arc seconds, the rate accuracy 0.03%, and with a maximum rate of 1000 deg per second. Also available are two, two-axis position tables with an accuracy of better than 0.2 arc seconds in one-degree steps.
 

Clean Room Facility

  • Most of the activities take place in an ISO class 6 (1000) clean room, which is ESD as well as environmentally controlled. In a class 5(100) clean room trained personnel disassemble, clean and impregnate bearings varying from commercial “off the shelf” bearings to ABAC 9 grade bearings. Centrifuging of bearing assembliesto ensure consistency in bearing lubrication is performed.
 

Heat Treatment Facility

  • Key to the department is the Heat Treatment Facility that can perform temperature profiles of up to 1200 degrees Celsius. The profiles are mainly used for annealing, stress relief and influencing the magnetic properties of materials. The effective size of the chamber is a cylinder with a diameter of 200mm and a height of 350 mm.
 

Stable Seismic Pier

  • The facilities are equipped with stable piers. The personnel and equipment are the backbone of the successes achieved by Denel Dynamics in the missile development and navigation manufacturing environment.
 

Helium Leak Detector

  • Supply Chain Department has the capability to detect gas leaks on sealed fine mechanical assemblies of up to lxlO-9 std.atm/sec with a state of the art helium leak detector. This includes helium detection in a sealed assembly as well as open sub-assemblies
